Getting Started
Action Shred makes it easy to shred and recycle your office documents. Follow these simple steps to get started:

	Choose a  secure container and decide how many you need. Determine whether on-site or off-site shredding works best for you. Decide whether you need a one-time purge or ongoing service. If ongoing, decide your frequency: weekly, biweekly or monthly. Select regular pickups or on-call service. Determine when you want Action Shred to visit your facility.

Shredding Process
Once we’ve created a plan, the process is easy:

1. Action Shred delivers secure containers to your office.
2. Your team members place sensitive documents into the containers. These can include white and colored paper, folders and more. Leave staples, paper clips and rubber bands in place—they won’t hurt our shredder.
3. An Action Shred tech comes to your office at the appointed time. The shred tech is licensed, insured, bonded and uniformed.
4. The shred tech takes the locked containers to Action Shred’s unique shredding truck, which is locked and secured.
5. For on-site service, your documents are torn into tiny pieces while you watch. You can see the results through a porthole in the side of the Action Shred truck, ensuring chain of custody has been maintained to meet regulatory requirements.
6. For off-site service, we take your locked containers directly to our shredding truck, which is also locked and secured. The truck is then driven to our secure facility, where materials are destroyed in a timely manner.
7. Action Shred recycles every scrap of paper collected from your office.
8. You receive a Certificate of Destruction verifying that your materials have been shredded.
